Barclays Premier League Legend
Marcel Desailly
Former Chelsea and France defender Marcel Desailly is one of the most decorated footballers of his generation. He made his name at Marseille and AC Milan, winning the Champions League with both clubs, before moving to the Barclays Premier League with Chelsea in 1998. He quickly became a favourite at Stamford Bridge and went on to make 165 league appearances, scoring 7 goals, as well as helping the club win the FA Cup in 2000. Capped 116 times by France, Marcel was an integral part of the side that won the World Cup in 1998 and European Championships in 2000. Since his retirement from football in 2006, he has become a well-respected media pundit in both France and the UK.

From 2001 to 2010, Dykes hosted football on ESPN Star Sports, including live matchday coverage of the Barclays Premier League, Final Score, Football Focus and First Edition. In August 2010, he joined the Premier League’s official broadcaster as lead presenter.

Barclays representative
Robert Morrice
Robert Morrice is Chairman and CEO of Barclays in Asia Pacific. He’s been living in Hong Kong for the past ten years, leading Barclays growth in the region. He’s looking forward to the Barclays Asia Trophy and bringing some of the excitement and passion of the Barclays Premier League to Hong Kong once again in 2011. A life-long West Ham supporter, Robert was very disappointed to see them relegated at the end of the season! He hasn’t yet decided which team he will follow in the Barclays Premier League next season - perhaps it’ll be the club supported by the winning fan.
